Itinerary description
Plentiful on-street parking in Braco village and at entrance to Braco Castle and Ardoch Roman Fort on A822. Hilly loop of Strathearn, climbing up Roman Road to descend into Comrie (shops and cafes), then via Ross and Dalchonzie to St Fillans by 3 km of unsurfaced railway path and tunnel to new tarmac bike path, avoiding A85. Views of craggy Perthshire hills and Loch Earn. Food available in Comrie or at Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre shortly after start of climb over Comrie Moors, B827.
