Itinerary description
Nice easy paddle around Orewa Estuary. the way points are just suggestions.
Popular with local Paddlers of all types. There's toilets, a good cafe and plenty of parking.
Best times are near high tide, you can pretty much paddle anywhere you like, but as tide goes out you may need to stay in the channels to avoid grounding.
*Beware of the strong tidal flow in estuary, especially with kids or newer paddlers*
