Itinerary description

Seongbuk and Samcheong are connected with a tunnel through the mountain. But it is not possible to walk through it. Thus you have to go over the mountain but these trails can be difficult to find, also because you have to find one of the few gates through the old city wall. You have to cross either northwest or southeast of the tunnel. This one is the northwestern trail (recorded the southeastern earlier). It is a fairly easy walk but pretty steep up and down with stairs most of the way. You will have unobstructed views of Seoul city along the way and you will also be walking along streams. Samcheong is a nice place to end up for food and drinks. This time we ended up at the Godiva Chocolate Café…
