Itinerary description
We’ll Day 2 of our 4 Day Adventure with the Rifcom team didn’t disappoint.
After a good nights sleep in the Auberge Rueda located in Al Oued. rural commune in Morocco and some fabulous Moroccan cuisine.
We sampled the stunning views from the roof terrace of the surrounding mountains before heading off into the hills.
This part of our adventure took us into the Talassemtane National Park and the beautiful hamlets of Amellile, Tamtile and Ifahsa.
In the hamlet of Amillile we were invited into one of the Moroccan families homes for a mint tea and some food which was delicious.
We were made very welcome and the hospitality was exceptional.
I would thoroughly recommend anyone to sample the Moroccan culture that we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing.
Amellil is a hamlet in Tétouan Province, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima. Amellil is situated nearby to the hamlets Tamtile and Ifahsa.
During the final leg of our journey we experienced the enormity of life in the hamlets with the transport of everyday essentials being carried by horse and donkey from the roadside way below us at the bottom of the Valley.
A great adventure not to be missed and looking forward to our next adventure in Chefchaouen.
