Unfortunately we experienced bad weather during this hike, but it's still well worth the effort! At a certain point the hike will be marked by piles of stones.
We started our hike at the Tjugen camping, which was a great place to stay, but you can also park at the large parking nearby.

I did this walk many years ago (1996?), late July or early August. The first part, till the lake, is steep but easy. After that, the path is rocky. The last kilometer, there was snow on the mountain. It made the last bit really hard. One of the best walks ever!
