Well thanks for the review. I highly recommend the area and the hike around the crater rim is spectacular. Happy trails!

The trail goes off the path on the south east part - Do not follow

Hi Gardar, it's been a while since I did this hike but I remember following the cairn marked single tracks. We actually avoided going down the crater to respect the path. If you could specify at what km (or range) you believe it goes off-path it'll be helpful for future hikers. Your "Do not follow" imperative statement and hate review I believe is a pity since the hike is easy, beautiful and from my understanding it respects the nature and the surroundings of Hverfjall Crater. Anyway, thanks for your interest in giving an updated opinion on the hike.

Not a hate review - Where you went up is not the correct path - Do not follow that part. The place you went down is the correct path.
